The Action progress tab is a factual view of how your action plan is progressing: who is taking part, what state actions are in, who owns them, and how recently they've been updated.
The filter at the top re-scopes everything
There is one filter at the top of the tab. Choose an area of your organisation (or a demographic group, depending on your dashboard type) and every card below reloads for that population. There are no per-card filters. Use "Clear filter" to return to the whole dashboard.
What's on the tab
Participation rate
The percentage of dashboard users who have created at least one action, with the average number of actions per user. 40% means 4 in 10 users have at least one action. Organisation-wide actions aren't counted here — this measures engagement with the dashboard's own actions.
Status
Actions split by Completed, In progress and Not started, with the average time to complete. Click a slice to see the actions behind it.
Actions (by owner)
A table of each owner's actions by status, plus:
Progress index - a single comparable score per owner: completed actions count fully, in-progress count half, not-started count zero.
Last log in date - whether the owner is active on the dashboard at all.
Note the "Started actions" column shows actions not yet started - it's the not-started count.
Action activity
A bar splitting all users into four groups by how recently they last updated an action: no action recorded, stale (60+ days), updated 30–60 days ago, updated within 30 days. These thresholds are fixed.
Beneath it, Nudge opportunities shows how many users have no action or haven't updated in 60+ days, each with a Nudge managers button - see below.
Action participation breakdown
Participation by area of the organisation (or by demographic group), so you can see which teams are taking action and which need support. Each row has a "⚡️" button to assign an action directly to a low-participation area.
Nudging managers
Clicking a Nudge button opens an email modal with a suggested message drafted for you (this draft is the one AI-assisted element on this tab - you can edit it freely). The users in the group you clicked are pre-ticked as recipients, but the full list of the dashboard's action-planning managers is available, so you can adjust the selection before sending. One email is sent per recipient, personalised with their first name.
Common questions
Why did every card change when I picked an area? That's by design — the single filter at the top scopes the whole tab.
Who exactly gets nudged? Only the people ticked when you press Send. The button pre-selects the at-risk group, but you have full control over the final list.
Can we change the 60-day / 30-day freshness thresholds? No — they're fixed.
An owner's progress index looks odd — how is it worked out? (In progress × 0.5 + Completed) ÷ total actions, as a percentage. It's a weighted progress measure, not a completion rate.
Why doesn't the participation rate include our organisation-wide actions? Deliberately — the rate measures whether people are engaging with this dashboard's own actions. Organisation-wide actions appear in the owner table as a single "Organisation" row.
