Dashboard settings: Comparisons heatmap colour scheme

The Comparisons Heatmap Colour Scheme setting allows Administrators to choose the default colour palette used in the Comparisons page.

This setting determines the colours users see when they first open the Comparisons page. Users can still choose a different palette for their own view using the palette selector within the dashboard, but the configured default provides a consistent experience across the organisation.

Changing the default heatmap colour scheme

  1. Navigate to Dashboard

  2. Either CREATE NEW - or -edit an existing dashboard

  3. Locate the Comparison page option and switch to on if off

  4. Select the default colour palette you want to use.

  5. You will see a number of colour palette options, including:

    • Default (green/red)

    • Blue/pink

    • Teal/amber

    • Purple/coral

    • Custom (if configured)

  6. Save your change and your selection will become the default for all users viewing the Comparisons page.

Each palette displays the same underlying survey data but uses different colours to improve readability, accessibility or align with your organisation’s branding.

Note: Dashboard users can temporarily select a different palette for their own session from within the Comparisons dashboard. Changing the dashboard default does not prevent users from choosing an alternative palette.
